Good for revising before exam

As a fan of the motherbook "Dejong's the Neurologic examination" I feel somewhat unsatisfied when reading this concise companion handbook, it is just enumeration of examination sequences of various signs without the wonderful anatomical and pathophysiological background that were omitted from the larger motherbook,it also lacks the practical touch of the authors that is felt between lines in the motherbook, On the whole it's good for rapid revision and for non-neurologist but much less appealing to an experienced, meticulous and old-fashioned neurologist.
